Michael CanzianChief Executive Officer
Michael Canzian is Chief Executive Officer of ParkingSoft and is responsible for all strategic and operational aspects of the company’s growth. Mr. Canzian has expertise in leading companies ranging from entrepreneurial ventures to large corporations in rapid growth phases through to exit. Before joining ParkingSoft, he served as CEO of iLumen, Inc., a leader in cloud based software analytics in the accounting, financial institution, and the small/mid-sized business markets, and before that, as COO of parking and transportation holding company ASG driving its operational growth and expansion strategy. Prior to ASG, Mr. Canzian was Chairman and CEO of holding company UMG Financial, Inc. with divisions in mortgage banking, wealth management, securities and private investments with $500 million in production volume. Prior to UMG, Michael served as president and senior vice president/GM of BAE SYSTEM’s Jet Acceptance Corporation and Regional Aircraft, Inc. responsible for a multi-billion dollar global company with 1,000 employees. Mr. Canzian also founded Capital Mobility Ventures, a management consulting, turnaround and private equity firm, and has served as a Director on various corporate and non-profit boards. Michael has a MBA from Georgetown University and a BS in AT—Aeronautics from Purdue University.
Paul FavorovChief Technology Officer
As the Company’s Chief Technology Officer Paul Favorov is responsible for all aspects of ParkingSoft’s technology including the solution’s design, development, engineering, manufacturing, and support services. Prior to joining ParkingSoft, Mr. Favorov held various leadership roles in software development and consulting where he spearheaded numerous web based solutions for the travel and hospitality industries. Paul’s work experience includes SAGE North America, where he was instrumental in the development of projects ranging from automated order management systems to companywide online catalog and shopping cart solutions. Prior positions include applications developer, process designer, business analyst, and development manager in various sectors of the information technology industry. Paul holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Georgia Tech. Paul also maintains an active membership role in multiple professional information technology associations and organizations as well as the International Parking Institute and National Parking Association.
Ira PowersChief Sales Officer
Ira Powers’ career in the Parking and Security industry currently spans 23 years. Throughout this time frame Mr. Powers has engaged in consulting, systems design, project implementation, and problem resolution. Mr. Powers’ disciplined approach and understanding of business processes and system life cycles assures that customer objectives are consistently met and exceeded. His experience includes PARCS, Security and Life Safety Systems, Building Systems, Human Resource Systems, Event Management Systems (Traffic Management Systems), and Web-Based Systems (enterprise resource management, distributive computing and SaaS). Ira has been involved in all phases of construction projects including new and rehabilitated structures and complexes and understands vehicle and pedestrian statistical data, which when combined with his operational experience, delivers a successful outcome on any project ranging from simple in composition to highly complex. Mr. Powers’ strong track record and experience in information system implementations, work flows, and product development ensures that corporate, financial, and operational objectives are achieved consistently and comprehensively to deliver strong customer satisfaction time and again. Ira’s tireless commitment to meeting the operational and financial goals of his customers creates long-lasting business relationships. Mr. Powers holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems with a minor in Finance.
Steve WomackSenior Vice President of Operations
As Vice President of Operations for ParkingSoft, Steve is responsible for manufacturing, project implementation, and after-sales support. Mr. Womack is uniquely suited for this role due to his extensive involvement in the parking industry over the last 16 years. In total, Steve has amassed over 28 years of diverse experience working on multi-million dollar projects for major transit systems with L.B. Foster, as well as for the largest airport facilities across North America with Ascom, ACS, and Xerox. Having worked with global firms in all phases of parking system design, implementation and maintenance, Steve is well-positioned to lead our project teams to deliver a quality product that is well-built, dependable, and properly supported by our organization. Steve has been exposed to all verticals of the parking industry, including airports, municipalities, hospitals, colleges and universities, as well as hotels and mixed-use facilities. His experience extends to both on-street applications and off-street parking applications. This exposure has allowed him to work with operators, public entities, private industries, consultants, and major stakeholders throughout the course of his career. Mr. Womack holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Southern Tech and has additional studies in the MS – Technology Management Program. Steve maintains an active membership in both the International Parking Institute and the National Parking Association.
Christopher SmithSenior Vice President & Controller
Chris is responsible for all accounting, finance and administrative functions at ParkingSoft and has been instrumental in developing internal information systems and processes to facilitate an evolving and growing international enterprise. Under Chris’s leadership, ParkingSoft has aggressively broadened its operational footprint while managing increased product lines in support of the Company’s rapid growth strategy. Prior to joining ParkingSoft, Chris was instrumental in expanding SaaS company iLumen, which provides financial and operational data analytic solutions to the banking and accounting industries. Moreover, he led initiatives to develop customer support operations and financial IT consulting services to client firms. Chris has BBAs in Accounting and Economics from Georgia Southern University and is active in the community through financial and governance consulting to non-profit organizations.

Job Description:

Build and support .Net C# Web applications in a Microsoft Environment with NET 4.0, ASP. NET, MVC, MSSQL Server 2008, WFC Web Services, and WFC Data services. Design, modify, develop and implement software applications, web applications, and relational databases using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design via the usage of SQL Server Reporting Services. Store, retrieve, and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements. Participate in design reviews, code reviews, test plan reviews, and other reviews during the software development life cycle. Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met. Create and maintain C# code using Microsoft Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server (TFS) and solve real business problems via the usage of HTML, Javascript/JQuery, Visual Studio 2008/2010, Web forms, ASP.Net, MVC and web services. Design and implement software based on requirements documentation via the usage of AGILE software development (SCRUM) and similar processes.

Job Description:

The Technical Specialist will be responsible for providing high level support to the Manufacturing floor. They will accomplish this by remaining abreast of all new hardware and software releases to the Manufacturing floor, by closely working with the Manufacturing Engineer Manager. This position requires effective interaction through excellent written and verbal communication across a diverse team at ParkingSoft. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills, proven ability to drive issue to resolution and perform root cause analysis, the ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels at ParkingSoft and thoroughly possess strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.

Job Duties:

  • Respond promptly to all open tickets from the Manufacturing floor requesting project assistance.
  • Provide high tier support to the Manufacturing floor to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve all open project issues.
  • Drive open tickets to resolution in an effective manner by utilizing all necessary resources.
  • Understand organizational structure and how to communicate on all levels by developing highly effective relationships across all departments to drive issue resolution.
  • Perform root cause analysis of open tickets. Identify patterns of repeat nonconformity of components, processes, etc.
  • Assess key deficiencies and offer sound resolutions to each issue, in order to improve process efficiencies.
  • Understand ParkingSoft components, both hardware and software, at a fundamental level.
  • Stay current on hardware and software changes prior to their release to the Manufacturing floor. Assist with bringing new hardware and software components to the Manufacturing floor.
  • Assist with creating different levels of documentation: technical, assembly, process, etc.
  • Assist in providing training to necessary personnel of varying technical ability
  • Assist in developing an internal “help desk” solution in order to: allow Manufacturing floor to create an issue ticket requesting help, tracking the status of open tickets, track root cause analysis to look for patterns of nonconformity and create general process improvements in the way tickets are generated and issues are tracked.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. High school diploma or GED, at least 2 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Associates degree in electronics, engineering or IT related field strongly preferred.

Job Description:

This person must be able to motivate others to action in order to accomplish multiple objectives with a sense of urgency without hampering morale. Lead will be responsible for supporting the day to day activity on the manufacturing floor, flexing within the department to ensure productivity goals are met. They will also lead operations projects, improving productivity, yield, and velocity, as well as providing training and leadership to other technicians. Also responsible for assisting in development of work instructions, training and certifying team members and assisting in special projects. In this position you will lead an assembly team of 1 to 3 technicians on orders and projects. The Team Lead will have authority and responsibility to ensure all key performance metrics for his/her team are met or exceeded (safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost)

Working Conditions:

  • Works in a production environment
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • In general, the position requires a combination of sedentary work and walking around observing conditions in the facility
  • Must be able to work flexible hours to accomplish assigned tasks
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed
